Mirror.

Mirror was a daily journaling app I built in October 2022, before ChatGPT existed and before AI was a thing I worked on. The pitch in my own head was “Wordle but for journaling”: everyone in the world got the same prompt on the same day, so reflection became something you could talk about with the people around you.

The actual point was learning. I was still relatively new to building software, and I wanted a real project to ship. Mirror was small enough to finish and weird enough to be interesting.

I floated it to friends, saw who tried it, didn’t push further. There wasn’t much uptake, but I’d already gotten most of what I wanted from the project by then.
